Easiest banana bread in the world

I think I had posted this before, but it must have gotten purged in the big post purging a while back, so here it is:

3-4 ripe bananas, mashed. I usually peel the bananas when they are more than 50% brown, stick them in a ziplock bag, and put in the freezer until I have enough for this recipe
1 egg
1/2 to 3/4 cup of sugar, your preference (I like 1/2, wife likes 3/4)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla (less if you have the good shit)
1tsp salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
1tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

Heat your oven to 350F. Grease a loaf pan. Mix everything in a big bowl with a big spoon. If your butter is hot, put it in first, then your other stuff, then the egg on top (so you dont cook the egg). Better to let the butter just be warm, rather than hot.

Pour batter into pan. Stick in the oven for about 70 minutes. It's done when a wooden toothpick comes out clean. Take out of the oven and set on a cooling rack. give it an hour or so. Remove from pan, and devour.

A loaf lasts us 2 days at most. Great on it's own or with a little butter.
