Post Application Process - Read thoroughly prior to applying
Application Process

All players wishing to join <Unpossible> should join the message boards and introduce themselves. We also require that they not be guilded or apply to other guilds as they start this process. This is to show respect to both the guild they are leaving and to us. This also shows the guild members that they are serious about joining <Unpossible>. They should /join Unpossible chat channel. This will act as an in-game forum to get to know people and to get information on the activities of the guild. This is a chance to form friendships with the members and to secure a Sponsor. The Applicant has 3 weeks in which to secure a Sponsor. If an applicant is unable to secure a sponsor during this time the application will be terminated. A Sponsor's role is very important. They are to help keep the applicant informed of guild activities, make sure they get on raids with the members and in general act as an advocate of the applicant.

Once an Applicant has found a Sponsor they have 3 weeks to secure the necessary votes. If an Applicant is unable to obtain the necessary votes during this time the application will be terminated. Members will have 3 weeks to get to know the applicant and vote on their application. All members have a voice, so this 3 weeks is very important for members to form opinions and have an opportunity to voice any concerns or issues they may have with the applicant. If there are any concerns that members do not want known publicly they should then discuss them with an officer for discussion. However, we would strongly suggest that any issue people may have be brought up to the guild. Fellow members have a right to know if there is any information that may affect their time in-game. During the 3 weeks, people will be able to vote on the application. Any "no" votes should be explained, either to the guild or the officers. At this time, an applicant needs a certain number of "yes" votes (based on class need) to be admitted to the guild. As soon as an applicant receives those yes votes they will be invited as a probationary member
of Unpossible.

All new members will have a probation period of 4 weeks. During the probation period, the new member will not be able to sponsor or vote on new applications. However, they should feel free to voice any opinions, issues, or concerns they may have with the applicant. At the end of this period the veteran members will be asked to re-vote and bring up
any issues that may have occured during the probation period. FIVE "yes" votes and Less than TWO "no" votes are required to become a veteran member, at this time.

In the event there are any "no" votes during the second stage of voting, the probation period will be extended by two weeks for a single vote. Two "no" votes" will kill the application, and the applicant will be removed from the guild.

If the member in probation is absent for a period of time equal to that of their probation period, without any notice given to the guild officers, then the member will be removed from the guild, and will be encouraged to reapply upon their return to the game.

The Role of the Applicant

*The Applicant should /join Unpossible chat channel.
*The Applicant should submit a formal application.
*It is the Applicants responsibility to secure a guild sponsor. They have 3 weeks to do so.
*It is the Applicants responsibility to maintain contact with their sponsor. The Sponsor is the point of contact for almost everything regarding the guild and their application status not the membership officer and/or the guildleader.
*The Applicant has 3 weeks to secure the necessary votes.

"No" votes - what does it take to kill an application...

If members feel strongly that someone should not be in the guild, then they will not be admitted. That being said, there are varying degrees of "no". A member voting "no" on an application will be asked to give an explanation. It takes 3 "no" votes to kill an application. If an applicant receives 1 or 2 "no" votes the probation period will be extended.
